Hope you had a great spring break! If you're like me, it was too short! But now the countdown begins; only two months left.

February comments, rants, and ramblings. . .

Hello my dears!

I know there are at least a few of you who keep checking back here. . . you know who you are!

Just a couple of things:

1. Tshirts are in and are in my office. If you ordered one, please come pick them up asap!
2. It looks like we're planning the movie day for Sunday, Feb. 22, at approximately 2pm. I know that might not work for everyone, but I don't think any date will. Let me know if you have a better idea!

Second Semester--January random thoughts

As promised, I am going to leave this up for you. Feel free to leave comments--I'll post things here from time to time. If there's anything you want me to post for the group, let me know that too.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

I just received word from Mr. Wickham that Term 2 classes will be meeting briefly on Jan. 6 (about 36 minutes worth). So we will be seeing each other once last time!!! I think this would be a good time to bring your money for the t-shirts (I think Megan said 9.95) and anything else you wanted to share with the class.

I'm glad I'll be able to see your smiling faces one last time!

Research Papers

They're graded and posted on PowerSchool, if you have access. There are two grades for the paper: one for content, the other for the research stuff (works cited pg, outline, citations, etc.). Also, if you turned in the paper early, you received an extra two percent on the content grade.

If you want a copy of your paper, let me know. I have to keep the original for your files. If you don't, that's ok, too! I'll have them all available to look at the day we get back to school.

Still working on the Gatsby essays and finals. I'll let you know when those are done.

Hope everyone's having a good break so far. (I have a stupid cold and have no voice, so no fun here yet!)

Final Blog of the Year

Here we are--the end of the semester. Hard to believe, isn't it? These past few months have been some of the most enjoyable of my teaching career. So, spend a few minutes and tell everyone what you'll remember-the good, the bad, the funny, whatever. And hopefully, this will be one class you won't forget!
