uh...well my prediction involves death but not as much as james's... I think gatsby will continue to pursue daisy but she wont go back to the way things were no matter how much she wants to. crushed and in dispair, gatsby will go on a wreckless path to destruction leaving all his money to nick...
I predict that Gatsby will forever be hopelessly in love with Daisy and will continue to pursue her not matter how fruitless the cause may be. If in deed Daisy does leave Tom for Gatsby it would cause some serious problems. I know that Tom is probably a pretty jealous guy who won’t take his wife leaving him for some guy that he knows nothing about and whom he really doesn’t like to lightly. My guess is that Tom will be in such a jealous and angry rage that he will hurt or possible murder Gatsby for taking his wife away from him. Or like I said before Gatsby may just spend the rest of his life pinning for Daisy wishing that he could go back and time and make the life he has always wanted, a life where Daisy is his and they can live happily ever after.

Tom will find out about the Daisy cheating on him and do something to hurt both Gatsby and Nick. He would hurt Nick because Nick helped arrange the meetings. I think that this novel will end like all the other novels that we have read this year... Horribly with a lot of death and heartbreak.
...that somebody is going to die. I'm not sure who, but it's probably either going to be Gatsby, Tom or Daisy. I also think Gatsby is setting himself up for a fall. I don't think he realizes, or doesnt want to acknowledge, that people change. I think he wants Daisy to act the same way she did five years ago. Oh, and I think Tom is going to become obsessive about Gatsby. The fact that he was getting upset with Daisy getting out and around town because he thought she was getting out too much means bad news for Gatsby. If Tom finds out Gatsby and Daisy were lovers, I think he is going to blow up over it and somebody is going to get hurt, if not die.
Learning the truth about Gatsby's past, I predict that Gatsby will be driven to insanity. His mental state is already weak from constantly obsessing over Daisy. Gatsby will finally go crazy enough to put a gun to his head and try to cap himself. But the gun will misfire just for suspense. By now Tom has already discovered the truth about Daisy's affair and enters, looking for revenge. There will be a struggle for the gun and in the commotion the gun will accidentally discharge and kill Daisy. Gatsby and Tom are so distraught over this crazy happenstance that they become best mates and go fishing and play shuffleboard together on a regular basis. Nick can't believe any of this so he gets drunk again. In his drunken state Nick begins walking on a lonesome highway during a blizzard. A kind gentleman picks him up in is snowplow and takes him back to his farm. Then he takes Nick to see his pigs. Then Nick dies...from large amounts of cholesterol from eating too much bacon. -Tony

but really um I think that Daisy will end up cheating on Tom even more then she already has. Gatsby and her might hook up and become serious. Tom will become obsessive with Gatsby. umm I really have no idea what is going to happen! soo yeah. ;)
I think that Gatsby will kill Tom with Daisy's help and then buy off all of the officials who come to question him. Then, I think that Nick and Jordan will start a drug ring with the money Gatsby gives them to keep quiet and become even more rich and powerful than Gatsby. After this, Nick will buy his own country and stock up lots of nuclear weapons and become a vicious dictator. He will reign for about ten years, amassing more and more wealth, and then, one day, he will be dead and Jordan will have disappeared. As she buys a plane and flies away with the money, Gatsby will avenge Nick's death buy shooting down Jordan's plane with a GIANT STUFFED CHINCHILLA! Jordan will die in a fiery inferno and then Gatsby will kill himself by hanging himself with a long piece of licorice. Of course, by now Daisy has been hit by an airplane that was attacked by a GIANT STUFFED CHINCHILLA! the end... or is it? bum bum bum

...well i think that Gatsby is still going to be helplessly in love with Daisy but things can't be the way he remembered them, so she won't go back to him, but instead will remain with the cheating, stupid, idiotic, retarded, #%*@!*# Tom. Gatsby will be crushed by the realization that he can't have Daisy and the world will come to a crashing halt and will be taken over by fuzzy green monsters.
Wow. Lil emo today guys? Thats ok cause I'm going to be too. I agree that someone is either going to die or get very seriously hurt. I really like James's little idea that everyone is going to die a dark and horrible death. Sounds a little like this one guy I heard of one time. Poe or something like that. I dunno but I guess he's kind of a big deal. But yeah, I think someone will die, more than likely Gatsby (considering he's the main character) and possibly an antagonist.
I think that Gatsby will continue to try to seduce Daisy but will eventually find out that she isn't the person that he fell in love with. Daisy doesn't seem like she is good enough for Gatsby. I'm pretty sure that Gatsby will die because there is no way that Daisy would leave her husband and it would a bad ending if he just had to go off and not have a life.

They may have been in love before and the relationship might have worked then, but it won't now. I think Gatsby will convince Daisy to leave Tom, but in a short amount of time, they will realize they don't love each other any more. But at least Daisy would get out of her marriage to the racist, cheater Tom.
... Tom is going to kill Gatsby or vice versa. There isn't a way that the two of them can peacefully coexist. Tom, knowing that this man will always be longing for his wife and Gatsby thinking that Daisy will never truly be happy unless she is with him. Somehow, one of them is going to have to die.
