I have a ? on the portfolio project. Do we still write those two paragraphs after our 5 para essay? And if so are they like This project lies in the unit theme because... and From doing this project I learned.....

I was going to talk about that tomorrow, but if you want to get a jump on it, you can go ahead and write them--they're the same two paragraphs (just make sure they're on a separate page!).
would saying Abby getting to know herself better be an ok factor? or would it be better to say that she isn't afraid to hurt herself to get what she wants?
I have Abby as my character (duh!) and I chose people are not above hurting themselves for self gain.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I think you could say Abby isn't afraid to hurt herself--maybe hurt her reputation--to get what she wants. I think that would work.
