Final Blog of the Year

Here we are--the end of the semester. Hard to believe, isn't it? These past few months have been some of the most enjoyable of my teaching career. So, spend a few minutes and tell everyone what you'll remember-the good, the bad, the funny, whatever. And hopefully, this will be one class you won't forget!

Okay, for the real one. I don't think I've ever had an English class as fun as this. English has never been this, um, amazing and random before, but strangely I learned a lot. So thanks Mrs. S. This is probably going to make me cry. But not really. I don't have that big of a heart. ANd you ARE going to leave up a blog for us otherwise I will make one. (Yes that's a promise. Or I'll make Adam make one. Either way...) I loved all of our random comments made. They make no sense to anyone else, but they're hilarious to me and to the class. The t-shirt will guarantee that I won't ever forget them. Um, the Crucible was deadly boring (Sorry Mrs. S), but the conversations we had about it were fun. As well as the random stories we read in the 10 pound book. Those just kinda epic successed. And the blogs. These are I think my favorite thing I've done ever. seriously. Because we're allowed to be fun and random as long as we get stuff done. Which is really neat. This class got a lot of us out of our shells in some way or another (ahem Eric blogging and the Halligans during our oh-so-lovely movie), which was super fun to see. The research paper was interesting. Not the hardest one I had to write, but I did have to do a lot of work to get it done. WHich was a good life lesson, I guess.

HOLY @%(&_@#*(&!!!!! My computer CD drive definately just popped open randomly. Yes, I screamed. And earlier I had to go through a revolving door and got stuck and screamed and a lady had to yell through the glass to tell me it was motion sensor and to keep moving as much as I could.

Back to my earlier point... The lit circles were fun. I got to know some people I wouldn't have probably gotten to know through that (ahem Sonja), and the seating chart (ahem Marissa-> Marissa, did you realize that we pretty much ignored eachother's presence before this class? Wierd.) And then the whole Mrs. S. not saying that she doesn't really like another person whom I cannot mention, but he tells awful jokes and Brian and Andrew and I are in his class during 4th block. Yeah. That was fun. And then the freakout sessions that all of us had. Like, all the time. Spiders, jugular veins, random orange eating sessions, how the **** are we giong to get our research paper done, this book is going to kill me, etc. Plus the random talks with Mrs. S. in the morning and seeing her face when she found out who screamo metal boy was. That was really funny. None of the class saw it. Sorry. And no, you don't get to find out.

OH AND OF COURSE I FOUND OUT ABUOT TRANSENDENTALISM which is kick-butt amazingness. Hmmmm... I wonder which story I'm going to write about....Hmmmm....

I'm sure I'll think of some more. But for now, that's it. You aLl know that I pretty much hate you all and am so glad that I don't have a class with everyone 2nd semester, especially Nikki since I already see her 2nd block in our favorite class. Woot for calculus. And Jake. But we don't care about him. As always. :-)

Thank you all for a completely
enjoyable ENglish class (although it was NOT stress free).

flogino-a male who whips someone.

I'M ALREADY GETTING STRESSED ABOUT NOT HAVING A BLOG TO POST ON WHEN I GET STRESSED!!!!!!

wow only one person so far...hmmmm. Well I would agree actually. I might spaz out because ther is no blog!!! I would say that some of the best times in class would be the time spent during projects! I LOVE English projects!!!!! This has been my favorite year for an english class!!! The ADOS thing that we have going on is amazingly entertaining!!! Some bad things I would say are ...(I might be hunted down if I say anything...) and that's it. However, the one thing that I completely an totally LOATHED was the research paper!!!! Never againg will I read anything with the name Fitzgerald on the cover!!!! I am going to start my fire tomorrow with my research paper stuff!!!! other than that i was great. SOOOOO yeah! I could say more, but it would just repeat and ramble...I'm interested to see what these t-shirts are going to look like...

I need a list of everyone in the class for tomorrow ASAP!!!!! DON"T ASK FOR WHAT JUST GO WITH IT!!! :)

I will always remember this English class. I think it has been one of the best classes I have ever had. At the beginning coming in it was hard, but this class made things seem easier. I met new people and saw old friends also. I have never had a class like this one. Every individual in our class is so different and their own person. We make up a lil O'SHINY group (ADD) lola. With out each individual in this class it would seem incomplete. I think as time has passed I have learned alot. This class has been one where you can share whatever you want and I think that has been one of the things that I have looked forward to the most. In any other class you can't just share your thoughts, but Mrs.Svoboda you have made this class what it is. It will be sad now when I come back from break and realize that Honors English tres is over, but it will be fun to look back in the future and see how much fun we all had. The conversations about each part or segment we read was the most fun because it was often times funny and exciting to see what others had to say. I will never forget my first year at KHS in our Honors 3 English Class! :)

Anonymous said...

Wow I cannot believe this year is already half over! Especially now that Honors English 3 is coming to a close. Its going to be sad now that I know after Christmas I will not be going back to english anymore. This class for me was a beginning start at Kearney High School. At first for me this was a frightening thought. As time progressed though things began to feel somewhat normal. Honors English 3 is probably one of the very best classes I've had. Every day excitement and laughter fills the room. Honestly this is what makes learning fun and interesting. Especially when everyone has the freedom to speak their minds. This part was fun because we all not only heard from Mrs. Svoboda's view but others also. During the different topics it was fun seeing what projects and comments everyone had. Each person in the class made the class a whole. Not only did I voice my opinion about things but I saw how others felt too. Getting different perspectives from different individuals makes a person see differently. This happened to me, not only did I see my own thoughts but others too. In the end this class has been not only a learning experience but lots of fun/and full of excitement. The memories will be sad when I'm leaving them behind but fun to remember and look back on. :)

holy cow! i cant believe this semester is already over! there are so many great memories from this class. most of which are good. i actually cant think of anything bad to say about this class. there are too many unforgetable moments to mention! i suppose some of my favorites would have to be all the videos and the bloopers more than anything! also all the random yet deep conversations we had! oh i just thought of something bad... STICKYNOTES!!! they sure can ruin a book!! just kidding not really. but other than that there is nothing bad to say. you all are great!

Ok I guess ill miss this class because of the atmosphere and how everyone acts. I enjoyed that this class was more of a discussion class and not ‘do these worksheets for tomorrow’. Instead of the teacher calling on us we got to voice our opinions freely. Although I never voiced mine I still have to admit I learned from all the discussions. I’m most glad I learned how to write papers quickly and accurately because I have a feeling it might help me in collage and after that. Although they were funny I won’t miss some of the conversations because they were kind of excessive (some). I also won’t really miss writing nine pages about some Chinese farmer who marries whores. I will miss the blogs some what even though I never read any of them but I’m glad you are keeping it up for next semester. I won’t post but ill probably look at it once in a blue moon. I guess that’s it.

Third block honors english class with Mrs. Svoboda has changed the way I look at English. I almost got stuck in regular english all semester! I must say that comparing the week that I was in regular English to the rest of the time I was in Honors was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! I mean.. seriously.. go to their blogs and see how little they right. One of the students in our class is capable of writing as much as a different classes blogs put together. I realize how much I would have missed out on. I though that I would be surrounded by a bunch of smarty pants and that I would be really dumb when it came to writing and research papers and everything.. and you know what? I was a hundred percent CORRECT! No offense or anything, but I discovered that our class is made up of a bunch of loony toons. In a good way of course.

The good part about this class was being able to express anything and everything that we felt.. whenever we felt like it. We would spend a whole class period talking about our feelings towards something. That is not something we could get away with in many classes. I also loved the fact that our class is so wild. I am so happy that we will be getting our random shirts and when someone says "I don't understand your shirt," we will be able to say "You're not supposed to," or "Exactly." Basically, like everyone else has said and will say, I LOVED THE RANDOMNESS AND THE A.D.O... What's that-->

haha :)

The bad part about the class was the actual work that tagged along with Mrs. Svoboda all the time. First of all, I would like to add the fact that I cannot read. I cannot write. I cannot think. I also cannot be an honors student. I guess I managed to do well this semester (but that's speaking before I get my research paper back). The WORST part was the frickin research paper that kept me up. Here is a schedule of the week I worked on my research paper..

Saturday- went to bed at 4 am just because it was Saturday
Sunday- 5 am research paper
Monday- 6 am research paper
Tuesday- 7 am research paper
Wednesday- computer malfunctions right before handing it in. Thanks you Adam!
Thursday- catch up on sleep.. crazy stranger appears in my house at 4 in the morning (By the way.. did anyone hear hits 106 about the 16 year old girl who woke up to a stranger? Ironic..)
Friday--FIRST NIGHT OF ACTUAL SLEEP!!
So the bad part of this class would be the actual meaning of class. yeah.. that would have to be it.

The funny part. Well, seriously.. look at us. Enough said.

I will really miss this class. All of you smart goobers are never in regular classes, which means you are never in classes with me! But I am sure glad I got the chance to share a class with you finally. That's right, I started my sentence with the word BUT and I ain't givin a gosh darn care about it.

Katelyn, thanks for your awesome freak outs and you made me hate the word epic, but I know I'll miss it after break. Will, without you sleeping all the time, I would only feel bad for the times I dozed off when Mrs. S was actually talking about the boring important stuff. Sonja, I also thank you for your random freak outs and your need to win arguements. I enjoyed them :). Katie, thanks for pole dancing.. hahahaha. Andrew, thanks for being there to give me gum when I wanted some. Adam, thanks for being so gosh darn smart with computers. Keegan, thanks for.. being you :) You are the true example of Third block Honors English fall 08. Meghan and Kaylyn, thanks for making me move to Honors English. Lyndee, thanks for your entertainment and your constant need for trouble haha. Meghan, thanks for being in charge of t shirts and letting us have a wonderful memory of this class. Mrs. Svoboda, with out you letting us get wild and crazy, and getting wild and crazy with us.. well, we'd be pretty boring :) So thanks to you too! For those of you I did not write about, I DID NOT FORGET YOU! I just think I wrote too much already! But thank you all for sharing our awesome experiences with me! Thank you and good bye.

ps. ooohh shiny

WV:shinesse = shiny/chinese (perfect fit for our class!!! AWESOME)

Well...this class has definitely been interesting. I really enjoyed the format of the class. Even though the work was difficult at times, we always had help and learned from eachother. I learned more this year than in my entire english career, seriously. I loved the blogs and our open discussions. They both allowed us to speak freely about the stories without being interrupted for going off topic. It was interesting to hear ideas and opinions from people that normally dont talk very much. This was one of the few classes that made me think deeply and reconsider my beliefs. Its rare to be in a class where intelligence is encouraged, and it was honestly a relief to witness common sense for a change.
This class helped me learn on my own and how to manage my time.

It was fun, interesting, educational and above all, very random. Dont change a thing, this class was awesome.

welup ive got to hand it to ya svob, if you and my mom would have let me drop honors english at the begining of the year, i would have defenitly missed out on alot of good times!i remember begging my mom to let me switch classes bc i was so upset that i got put in that class.. I jus did not think i would be able to handle honors english with all the other things ive been juggleing lately. i figured great just another class i can "epic fail" at...O MY GOSH did i SERIOUSLY just say that? wat the heck?! i hate it when katlyn says that!haha jkjk o jeeze look at wat this class has done to me!! o dear.....ne way i would have never guessed that english would be this fun. seriously when you think of english you think reading writing blah blah blah....butt this class has changed the way i look at english. I love it how everyone is so free to talk about whatever whenever. everyone says the first thing that pops into there mind..sometimes its good, other times its just not very appropriate..haha but thats just how are class is! and i think it is so hilarous!..i've had some pretty good times in this class! lit circle groups and projects, were always fun to do! discussing books in class was very interesting to watch bc it usually consisted of the same ppl getting in a hot debate over who is wrong and who is right.ahaha i like to jus sit back a watch others just duke it out and watching them yell back and forth! but at the end of the battle everyone is friends again..i feel like this class was one big family..everyone seemed to get along with each other and we liked to make fun of one another, but always in a joking way..i hope..hhahaa

i can't wait for the sweet tshirts to come out so we can wear them around! and when ppl come up to me and are like'i don't get your shirt' and i will jus be like 'exactly!' and like ten yrs from now i will find that shirt in my closet all dusty and torn covered in alot of 'croaking' or was it 'whistleing spiders?'..ne way :)and it will make me smile and remember Mrs Svobodas 3rd block honors 3 english class and all the ADD moments we had together....o jeeze i think im gunna cry......

NAW just kidding!! i don't cry that often haha but seriously this is so touching....

hahah gotcha again!!!ahaha man i am on a roll!!...ahaha i no wat your thinking svob..ahah actually no i don't but wateve..
okay enough jokking around..im just trying to make my blog longer than marisa's!!ahaha

oaky well i would have to say that the worst part of english would defentaly have to be ALL the writing!!!!gosh can somebody say hand cramp!! i mean my goodness sometimes i felt like my hand was gunna fall off! i just got to say that i absoutley HATE, I MEAN HATE RESEARCH PAPERS!!!!!!! worst things in the world!..except spiders...i really disliked writing all the time and the reading... READING! don't even get me started!! man we had to juggle like 20 different books at a time..okay i was kinda exagerating that a little but come on,,it kinda felt like that some times..

well besides all the reading and writing..i mean seriously who does that in english class...it was the most funniest english class i have ever been in!!!!!!! and i truely have to say that i am going to miss this class alot, when i have to go to chemistry next 3rd block, in stead of ADD OHH SHINNEY CLASS! and i would jus like to say thanks to everyone who was in this class for making it the best ADD english class ever!! and thanks marisa for lettin me drag you into this class with me it wouldn't have been the same w/o you!! and to mrs Svoboda..thank you once again for making me do this it has been so much fun and has been a great experience and you are such an awesome teacher!! im truely going to miss Mrs.Svoboda's 3rd block Honors Englihs 3 class!!it was the best english class ever!!!!!!!!

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!" :)

Dear Meghan, I'm sorry to say that you lost your little competition. How could you be so selfish to turn this into a game when we are supposed to be sharing our feelings about this class. There's no contest with trying to have a longer blog than someone else when you are discussing how awesome a class made you feel. Why would you try to turn this into a contest when I obviously won with over 100 lines in my blog and you only had ninety something? (That's right, I counted.) I'm sorry that you lost this little thing you turned into a game, but next time.. please don't be so insensitive (if that's a word) about this because you'll get your butt kicked anyway ;)

Let me start off with a list of very inappropriate things I learned in English this year:

1. Incest is freakishly common in English lit. books.

2. It's okay to sleep with dead people after you've killed them, but only if you are somehow related

3. If I become a psychopath serial killer, I can blame all on English and get away with it.

3 1/2. All books read in HE III are such an improvement from HE II. After all there's no gore, tragedy, pervertedness...ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!!!!! Actually, I found it all rather amusing, accept the Crucible...#$^%* you, Abigail!!!

4. Spiders can croak/whistle.

5. Katelyn has issues with jugular veins.

6. Gilly has way too much gum (thank you, though, I 'preciate it)

7. Yinfu will take over the world/universe/life-as-we-know-it.

8. Keegan hates Nebraska and Dan loves oranges just a little too much.

9. Will and Ben need more sleep :)

10. Adam....nuff said.

11. Katie...I've enjoyed my time pole-dancing with you, but, and I want to make this perfectly clear, it's NEVER GONNA HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!!! Ok, it might, just cuz it makes ppl feel awkward. Mainly me, but what the heck, right?

12. EVERYONE IN THIS CLASS EPIC SUCCESSES!!!!!!!!! (Meghan I know how you feel about that word and I share your pain, but it's perfect for our class right now.)

Okay that's enough. Wait, this semester's almost over...no more English? GREAT! There goes my year. It's all downhill from here. This is depressing. But for real, this is/probably always will be my favorite class EVER in the history of my life!!!! I really did like most of the stuff we read, because I really got involved in the discussions/vented all my anger (sorry about that) when it was appropriate, and I've never had a class I liked so much before. Honestly, it's been the high point of everyday since school started. Even during research papers...quit complaining guys! We've been writing one every year since 8th grade. (Please don't hurt me!)Besides, it was...um...interesting to see how everyone dealt with mucho stresso. I think we all need a little counseling :)

Then again, a little craziness never hurt anyone...at least not very much. Or did it?

Peace out, homies! I love you guys!

Sniff...Sniff...i'll mis this class and all the fun random people in it. everyone should be in the same english class next year-with johnson. My favorite part about the class would have to be the lit circle projects-mostly the videos and of course the food. I still cant beleive we have to have a final i mean cmon u have to end the second to last day with a big annoying writing test. oh well. Thank u mrs svoboda for making it a great class where we could speak our mind(although theres a few who shouldnt) and for being one of the best teachers ive had(will that get me some extra credit?) jk. ill miss the whole class

Anonymous said...

i agree with katelyn that this is the most fun class ever! there's definitely lots of fun; the t-shirts say it all..i enjoyed chelsey and courtney's nicknames! and all the random things ppl say on the blogs...and the random arguments we have in class that are eventually about sth totally unrelated..i'm pretty sure a few minutes is not what it takes to describe this. one of the things i liked was how i actually remember what a lot of what we read! more than any other english/reading class ever! and I really enjoyed mrs svoboda (aka you) 's company! you were such a fun teacher..and you accepted ALL of our weirdness! and we bonded so well! i feel that way at least...some of my other classes i don't even know who's all in the class at the end!

back to the actual literature part of the class, those were fun! like cherbear said, lots of incest/sexuality, and gross scary stuff (i like) and i feel like i've never done more connections to literature. oh i enjoyed seeing the # in front of comments skyrocket..and this was definitely a class to become opinionated! i feel like i should say some bad stuff....but all of them turn into a good or funny somehow..overall this was an amazing course!

YAY for ADDness!
oh yea and wv's--conala

What to say... I talk too much, i blab and mumble, and all of you don't care. sweet.

:)

Everyone has been so great and i LOVE the fact that you all are just as ADD as me.

but i really don't know what to write... i don't like to think about all the fun times ending

i just dont want to

so i'm so sorry I love you all and you all know what I think about you (best people ever!!!)

:)

Eeh, um, I enjoyed the even more ADDness this year than HE-II, which was prolly were most of the ADD corruption came from. I like the no grammaier packet deal like frm lat year. Mostly i like the LIT circles because they always fun, like on Curse Me, Ultima making the vids were fun, although the video project has made me hate Adobe After Effects with a passion. Compared to everything else, the only thing I no like is the paper that you reeserch for, it required researching and is maybe called a research paper. I rly enjoyed this calss though even though I usually dislike doing english, but not as much tis year. No wait one more thing I dislike, I have not destructively invaded your macbook, yet, do you seriously think your new machine does not have a atomic timebomb installed and by the way open journals every once in a while like this was cool, it hels us connect mor for like in class, and the walking frog. and I hate people less now and i think im done. I want to see what people and you posts when this blog OPEN TO US.

Umm.. so I'm going to have to say i'll miss Megan's massages the most. That probably sounds terrible, but she really got the bad knots out. Thanks Megan. :D Also, I'll miss windshield sex. Lots and lots of windshield sex. With flapper dresses. The imagery in those two statements will probably stick with me for a long time (hauntingly, of course). Yin was also a very fun person in that class because she's very pessimistic, just like myself. Honesty is cool. Stick with it, Yin.. haha.

Okay, but I'm definitely not going to miss all the projects. Lawd.. there were a lot of projects. I'm sooooo happy our paper is over (although i'm not looking forward to seeing it today).

But most of all, I think i'll miss our stupid conversations with actual, legitimate points against people like schools, parents, friends, society... Since we're in Honors English, we're just right... the world will learn to deal :P.

Overall, good experience. Learned a lot. Slept a little. Drooled a lot. Laughed more. I shall end in Haiku:

Interesting class
You're all a bunch of weirdos
I will not miss you

Love.

i think i am going to miss the atmosphere of our classroom the most. this was unlike every english class i have ever had. we didn't get in trouble for blurting out random comments and people were free to express their own opinion.

one thing i will not miss is the stress of all the massive projects piled onto us all at once. as much as i hated it, i have to say that it helped me become more organized.

i didn't really enjoy lit circles, and i have to say that i absolutely hate american authors. they write about the stupidest things! sorry, but its true. i did not enjoy reading the assignments, but i loved the discussions we got into. it was really entertaining to watch people fighting in our class because we all had such strong beliefs. this was one of my favorite classes this semester, and i am really going to miss it.

This has been my favorite class all semester long! I will never ever forget all the inside jokes like boobs the cat and the spider and everything else. I have to admit that at times I hated writing the papers and reading the stories, but I honestly think that I am a better person because of it. Yes I just had a cheesy lovey dovey moment. This was the best honors english class I have ever been in and I will miss everyone next semester.
By far my favorite thing about this class though, was watching will and ben react to how idiotic the rest of class was on a daily basis. Sometimes I wish that they would tell us what they are thinking rather than keep it to themselves.
The class discussions were amazing too. I will never forget the day that megan k and sonja were arguing across the room.
Our class was always a place I felt comfortable sharing my ideas.
Thanks!

this is really sad!!!!!!!!!!! the things i will remember the most is eating food and watching movies on the floor and yelling at each other about books :(.....this is probably the funnest class ive ever had and i will never forget it! it kinda sounds like our class is dying and im writing a eulogy for it...but anyways. croaking spiders will always be funny to me and so will jugular veins. whenever i see one of the word spelly things it will always make me think of manthighs. wow there is so much looking back on it that makes me think about this class. i think tho probably the best thing about the class was Mrs. S because most teacher WOULD NOT have put up with our crap and let us yell at each other and so on. the class wouldnt be the same missing any of the people love yas guys!!!!! this is making me really depressed and stuff. the only really bad things i can remember is when we were talking politics and stuff ugh! to much yelling! but other than that the class was amazing and i dont want next semester to start cause its gonna be REALLY BORING!!

so yea pretty much the last wv romis

Mrs Svoboca: Thanks so much for being a great teacher i love u to death and ur my fave so far(and i actually mean it) you can totally tell the differences between a teacher that kinda cares and a teacher that really really does and your definitly one of them. Thanks for putting up with our hr and a half talks and for actually caring about what we said and not treating us like we're stupid. I think you did a agreat fob at making even the boring stories and stuff as interesting as possible and for doing your best to help us w/ the research papers and by staying up pretty late with us too. You're a trooper and you were never grumpy with us even if u were having a bad day. Svoboda you're the greatest and im going to miss u next semester! luv ya!

ok... man.. this semester has been amazing!! Im really gonna miss the class. random convos, incest, windshield sex, etc. lol there are so many great memories I'll never be able to forget even if I wanted 2. We got into som really deep stuff in this class.. I really got to get to know a lot of people that I never would have otherwise. We of course did and said a lot of funny things as our t-shirts shall explain. I loved watching everyone being random and completly rediculous without worrying wether or notany one cares. From watchin Megan and Sonja go at eachothers throats for a bit to breakin Court and Chels out of thir shells(who should really really take some art classes btw, since ur already amazin in all, and it wont hurt u wantin 2 b fash designers either :P) Man this is really depressing. I shall miss Yin scaring the crap out of me with her complete crazed pessimism. Dan, y the oarnges? And Erin u NEED to take 3-D design, we need good people :D Lyndee...u just make me laugh. Oooooh man so much to say and such a tiny box. KT and Sonja i will miss holding your hands...sigh, Katelyn, Oh Katelyn, i love your love of transendentalism or however its spelled, it makes me giggle. And Katelyn, i promise, u will not always Epic fail, one day u shall epic suceed...maybe :P Im really gonna miss seeing th @*#^ and &^%( and Abi's and so on. I love that we are able to voice our opinion and for the most part not worry about getting in trouble. Svoboda for the whole semester not once did wwe get chewed out. wow u have some patience. Word Verifications. need i say more? hehehe Keegen, I shall miss seeing your daily scarves and random insults no matter how mean they shall seem at the time :P oh darn. I seriously would write like 10 more research papers to stay in your class. Honestly i didnt think it was that bad... I thonk U should teach seniors next yr just cuz u love us soooo much :) I really didnt think any of the stories were that bad no matter how big of a deal we made of them at the time. In the end it really was all worth it and I think i atleast kinda learnes a lot. NO! I do remember one bad thing. K the very very very very begenning of the semester??? That huge vecab packet of stupid lit terms and all those tests we had to take... yeah i didnt really like that at all. I really liked our political conversations earlier in the semester 2.. I think that really showed everyones tru colors right then and there. Theres just so many stinkin fun things to think about! Huff.... hehe and puff and blow ur house down! sorry that was random. can u tell that im bored? Well I really really loved this class and every single person in it. I hope that I get to have some of you guy sin my next classes( i kno I have meghan but i'll have to worry bout getting eaten by her :P) even tho i know theres no way that any other class will be as fun as this one. Thanks so much Mrs. Svoboda I'll miss u!

HRWVOTD- (sorry jake i had 2) Leuptic... Lupis??? like that one really sucky disease?

Oh man....
I will really miss this class.
I like almost everyone in it.
:P JK.
I did love how the class was set up. I don't think I've ever had that much fun in one class, yet I learned tons. That's pretty hard to find in any school at any level. I would say a lot of this is thanks to the discussion-based format. I'm sure some days we talked for a little longer than your lesson plan allowed, but hey, would we be us if that didn't happen?
Oh god, all the funny parts in this class?! I'd still be typing on Christmas if I could type all of them.
From Kaitlyn's epic use of the phrase, "epic FAIL," to Lyndee's scandalous stories. From Katie's (or Katy's-Haha, ha, ha. Get it, Katy Perry?! HA!) provocative pole dancing to Mrs. Svoboda's pregnancies. This semester of H. English III has been a giant laugh.
There hasn't really been much bad associated w/ this class, besides the obvious schoolwork that nobody enjoys. Heck, I even disagree with people all the time in this class, but in the end, we're still all friends. One insane, windshield sex-craving, croaking spider-loving, epic group of friends.

For the last time... :'(

Well, as I type this in at almost midnight, it is looking like school might not be a possibilty in the morning. Anyways...what I will remember most...probably just all the jokes and humor. Having so many different and loud personalities definitely ramped up the laughs. I ended up missing alot of these (turns out I don't get enough sleep at night, after all I will probably be up for a few more hours) and that is something that in the end I definitely regret. I really enjoyed the class, though the long discussions lulled me to sleep almost every time...this is noone's fault but mine. As for the blogs, I think they are absolutely great, they provide the perfect place for people to say what they want. Not to mention, very easy to use. Noone wants to write in a journal...So I say keep doing them, and everything else, because they definitely keep the creativity flowing. Boobs.

Katelyn--I can't get into the school to get my grading scale (the parking lot's still snowed in), and I'm going out of town for the weekend. You'll have to wait until Monday. Sorry!

Hope--I'm all for that idea!

Oh man...sorry my internet has been out of order all week...but i fixed it!! :)
I'm going to miss a lot of things about our class...I liked being with people who like to speak their minds because it makes things more interesting. I felt like I learned a lot this year, which is really good! I think if I wouldn't of had this class this semester I wouldn't have done as good on the english part of the ACT :P even thought the science part kicked my butt..haha
I also loved lit circles! I like having someone to talk about the book with and hearing what other people thought about the book. I used to HATE reading, but now it's just like, something I just do..weeeirrddd but good :) haha
I'm really gonna miss this class!!! And you too Mrs. Svoboda!! You're a great teacher and I wish I could have you again!!
